Uzima provides high quality mental healthcare services to a diverse clientele. We strive to make a real difference in peoples’ lives treating them with respect, compassion, and dignity as we help them navigate life challenges. We aim to meet people where they are in their recovery and empower them to create the life they want for themselves.

Peer Support

We provide certified Peer Support Specialists who assist our clients with goal setting, mentoring, and advocacy in pursuit of greater independence and self-reliance. 

CBRS/Skills Building

We provide Community Based and Rehabilitative Services (CBRS) to assist clients with rehabilitation planning; developing skills for everyday problem solving; improving communication skills and self-regulation.

      Counseling 

We provide quality community-based behavioral health treatment, coordinating care with other Uzima programs as well as with our partner organizations in the community.

Interpreters

We provide interpreters when necessary to assist clients in receiving services. Our interpreters are fluent in Swahili, Arabic, Pashto, Kinyarwanda, Somali, Dari, Farsi, Turkish, Anharic, Tigrigna, Kiziguwa, Mai Maiwith, and Kirundi.



   Case Management

We provide specialized Case Managers who partner with our clients to coordinate care and develop and monitor personalized treatment plans.
