Position Overview

CBRS is assessing the needs for a family and the linking them to resources in the community.


Job Description:

  • Meeting with the members and setting goals for care plans.
  • Introducing the member to another program or organization.
  • Meeting with care providers and advocating for clients.
  • Modeling problem solving and assertiveness.
  • Explaining the potential for positive and negative outcomes of various choices.
  • Knowledge of Idaho Health and Welfare for SNAP, Medicaid, Childcare, or TANF.
  • Connecting a member with Global Health or other healthcare providers.
  • Assisting with community housing assistance programs.
  • Helping the parents communicate with the school to secure assistance for their child.
  • Instructing the client in how to pay their own bills.
  • Learning the emotional regulation and social skills needs to improve daily functioning.


Job Requirements:

  • Must have a completed a bachelor's degree in the social sciences, education, or another humanities field.
  • Must have a current driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
  • Must pass a criminal background check from Idaho Health and Welfare.
  • Must have basic computer skills and able to quickly learn an Electronic Healthcare Records software.
  • Must be adept at adjusting the communication process to the abilities of the client, and directing the interpreter as needed.
